A recent story on Dr. Steven Eisenberg, a LightBridge Medical Director, shares how music brings life to his patients. Dr. Eisenberg, an oncologist, many times has to tell patients that they have a terminal disease. He helps guide his patients through the uncertainty of what lies ahead by composing song lyrics that remind them of their life, and not their disease, by taking the time to get to know them on a personal level.
“He brings a clinical skill and emotional skill that is just amazing,” says Jill Mendlen, Founder and CEO of LightBridge Hospice & Palliative Care. “He’s a true gift.”
We are very blessed to have such an extraordinary and talented doctor involved in our organization. Dr. Eisenberg truly embodies the LightBridge mission to assist our patients to move through the last stages of their lives with grace, strength and hope.

As a cancer survivor, myself, I truly applaud your efforts
in treating the whole patient with the use of music.

cancer patients a little mix of music and horses could
be very beneficial. Phil Waigand “THE BEAT”(Heart Hoof Drum)
